Sarah Hyland's ex Matt Prokop arrested on child porn charge

Matt Prokop is entering the new year with new legal troubles.

The “High School Musical 3” actor was arrested in Victoria, Tex., Dec. 24, where he faces multiple charges including possession or promotion of child pornography, the Victoria County Sheriff’s Office confirmed to E! News Jan. 10.

Bob Weir, Grateful Dead founding member and a jam band icon, dies at 78

And while the Dead were not usually much for politics, Weir increasingly embraced liberal and progressive politics starting in the early 2000s and continuing through later years when he endorsed Kamala Harris and Tim Walz. Weir also dedicated time to philanthropic efforts, with him and Mickey Hart winning the MusiCare’s Persons of the Year award in 2025.

Weir was survived by a handful of Grateful Dead bandmates, including drummers Mickey Hart and Bill Kreutzmann.

Veteran actor T.K. Carter, known for ‘The Thing' and ‘Punky Brewster,' dies at 69

Veteran actor T.K. Carter, who appeared in the horror film “The Thing” and “Punky Brewster” on television, has died at the age of 69.

Carter was declared dead Friday evening after deputies responded to a call regarding an unresponsive male in Duarte, California, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

Police did not disclose a cause of death or other details, but said no foul play was suspected.
