Hi ,
Announcing this year’s Lent Pray40 theme … THE RETURN! Join us on a journey back home to the Lord – no matter our sins, no matter our struggles, no matter how far we’ve strayed away. Just as we’ll see through the Parable of the Prodigal Son, we’re all farther away from God than we need to be…but the good news is God is always waiting for us with open arms, running out to us while we are still a long way off.
To really help bring the truths of this parable to life this Lent in Pray40, we’ll dive into the incredible book, in my humble opinion the greatest novel of all time, The Brothers Karamazov by Fyodor Dostoevsky!
It’s the hardest thing we’ve ever done, but also I think the most transformative. We’ll step into the lives of its characters and discover the moments where their struggles sound like ours and their brokenness feels familiar. For countless readers over the last couple of centuries, this book has held a mirror up to the battle between good and evil in their hearts. This Lent, we invite you to let it do the same for you!
Together, we'll let go of what holds us back, return home to the Lord, and let Him send us out as His hands and feet. Along our way in Pray40, you’ll also hear real-life stories of returning to God, take on a fasting challenge each week, and more! It all begins on Ash Wednesday, February 18 – join the Pray40 waitlist today! |
“Then the father said to him, ‘Son, you are always with me, and all that is mine is yours. But we had to celebrate and rejoice, because this brother of yours was dead and has come to life; he was lost and has been found.’” (Luke 15:31-32) |
We’re also thrilled to share a new special Hallow edition of The Brothers Karamazov to help you go even deeper into the book this Lent.
And stay tuned for more announcements about our guides this Lent Pray40! I can’t wait to pray with you every single day leading up to Easter to Return Home to our Father. |
In Christ, Alex at Hallow |
