| Hello. US President Donald Trump has doubled down, saying he will “100%” follow through on his threats to impose tariffs on countries that oppose a US takeover of Greenland. In Sierra Leone, we report on a father's desperate search for his children who fell victim to a trafficking scam two years ago. And finally, take a look at a very unusual car that's turning heads on the streets of Detroit. | |

| | Trump has said he would impose a 10% tariff on goods from eight Nato allies if they opposed his proposed takeover. Credit: Reuters/Kevin Lamarque | President Trump has said he no longer feels "an obligation to think purely of Peace" after not winning the Nobel Peace Prize. In a text message exchange between Trump and Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Støre - which you can read here - the US president blamed Norway for not giving him the prize and reiterated his claim that "the World is not secure unless we have Complete and Total Control of Greenland". "Trump's fixation with Greenland" has "put a huge strain on the transatlantic alliance: both on America's relations with Europe, and within Nato," writes Russia editor Steve Rosenberg, as he explains what Moscow stands to gain from the current situation. |

| My children fell victim to a trafficking scam. I joined a police hunt for them | | Froday and his family paid the traffickers $25,000 (£19,000) including joining fees and extra money to try to get his children home. | Almost two years ago, Froday Musa's 22-year-old son and 18-year-old daughter, along with five others, were recruited from their village in Guinea by agents promising them work abroad, but like thousands of others across West Africa, they had fallen victim to a human trafficking scam. The group was taken across the border into Sierra Leone and held captive. Froday has not seen his children since. |

|
| | When the head of investigations at the anti-trafficking unit of Interpol within the Sierra Leone police received a tip-off that a large number of young people were being held in a location in Makeni, Froday joined the police as they raided the property, hoping to find his children.
Bags and clothes were strewn across the floors. It is thought 10 to 15 people slept in each room. The Interpol team gathered everyone inside the property and found some as young as 14 had been living there, but Musa's children were not among them, though one young man said they had been there the previous week - the first potential sighting of them in a year. |
