The approval of the pesticide active substance fenpyrazamine was not supported for renewal in GB and expired on 31 December 2025.
The statutory approvals register has been updated to reflect this change.
The expiry of this approval will impact PPPs containing fenpyrazamine. Grace periods have been set allowing:
- 6 months for sale and distribution (30 June 2026)
- a further 12 months for storage, disposal and use of existing stocks (30 June 2027)
Withdrawal Notices will be updated on the pesticides register.
The expiry of this approval has no immediate impact on the GB maximum residue levels (GB MRLs) which will remain in force unless HSE decides to take specific regulatory action; no such action is currently planned, but GB MRLs may be reviewed at any time based on a priority of protecting UK consumers.
