The surprising thing about our goals is that in hindsight we find many of the things that felt really important at the time, no longer seem all that important . We have a tendency to feel a profound desire to achieve x, y, z goal - only to realize that when it’s not fully realized - we are still fundamentally okay. This fundamental okayness is not a defect, but rather an advantage on the path to a full(er) life. Because when we can start from this place of okay, we can shift our perspective from proving something to sharing something. Some of the most externally “successful” people feel internally empty because their success has been driven by a sense of disparity and insecurity. When we start from abundance we still act, but we act without a feeling of compulsion. We act freely and joyfully.
THIS WEEK: What do you imagine you need to prove in order to be “okay?” Who do you imagine you need to prove this to?
All the best,
