Dear Sleepy Hollow Families,

We are so excited to welcome our students and staff back to school after a week away due to the winter storm! ❄️ Thank you for your flexibility, patience, and partnership as we navigated the weather together. There is truly no place like our school, and it will be wonderful to have our halls filled with learning, laughter, and smiling faces again.

As we return, I want to share a quick reminder about the importance of daily attendance. Being present at school every day matters—each instructional minute builds upon the next. We kindly ask families to help limit unexcused absences, such as appointments or vacations, whenever possible. When students are here consistently, they stay connected, confident, and on track with their learning.

With cold temperatures continuing, please remember that we are under a Cold Weather Advisory for most of the week ahead. Be sure your child comes to school dressed for the weather with winter jackets, hats, and gloves as needed. We want all of our dolphins to stay warm and safe during arrival, dismissal.

We are also thrilled to officially kick off 3rd Quarter—a fresh start filled with new goals, growth, and opportunities for success! And coming up on February 2nd is Groundhog Day
