| Family, friends identify crew members presumed dead after boat sank off Cape Ann |
Hundreds packed into Saint Ann Church in Gloucester, Massachusetts, on Sunday for a memorial mass held for the fishermen presumed dead after their boat sank off Cape Ann on Friday morning. The cathedral was packed for the 4 p.m. service, with no empty seats to be found. At least 100 people were standing, crowding around the seats all the way to the back door. “Our community is crushed by the tragic loss of life. Our hearts are broken for the crew and for their families, friends, and neighbors,” the Catholic Community of Gloucester & Rockport posted on Instagram. “As a people united in prayer, fellowship, and service, we come together as one family to love, embrace, and support each other.” |

Injured? Sick? Doesn't matter. Drake Maye speaks at send-off rally, Patriots now in California |
Super Bowl LX is only six days away, and the Patriots traveled to California Sunday to get ready for the biggest game of the year — but not before 30,000 fans attended a send-off rally at Gillette Stadium. It was a brutally cold morning in Foxboro, Massachusetts. Gates opened at 9 a.m., and the entertainment got underway about a half hour later, with the Dropkick Murphys performing around 10 a.m. Patriots owner Robert Kraft and his son, team President Jonathan Kraft, took the stage shortly after 11 during the speaking portion of the program. |

| Bad Bunny makes Grammy history with first Spanish-language album of the year win |
Bad Bunny won album of the year at the 2026 Grammy Awards for his critically-acclaimed “Debí Tirar Más Fotos,” closing out a surprising and history-making night. It is the first time a Spanish-language album has taken home the top prize. “Puerto Rico, believe me when I tell you that we are much bigger than 100 by 35,” he said in his acceptance speech in Spanish, referring to a Puerto Rican colloquialism about the island’s small size. “And there is nothing we can’t achieve. Thank God, thank you to the Academy, thank you to all the people who have believed in me throughout my career. “To all the people who worked on this album, thank you mami for giving birth to me in Puerto Rico, I love you,” he continued. |

| Quieter weather pattern settles in, but chance of flurries midweek |
The pattern has finally relaxed. With no major storms are in sight, we can bask in plentiful sunshine in the coming days. We’ll start with very cold mornings but recover in the afternoons to near freezing through midweek. Other than a few flurries on Wednesday morning with a weak weather system passing through, we can expect very little precipitation through the end of the week. Then the question becomes, “Are we done with the snow?” (And no, Punxatawney Phil won’t have that answer today.) |
