Despite the current lapse in Congressional appropriations, commonly referred to as a “government shutdown”, the Federal Independent Dispute Resolution (IDR) process will remain in operation. Disputing parties may continue to submit disputes via the Federal IDR portal and certified IDR entities may continue to process disputes. All standard dispute timelines will continue to apply. However, please note that a prolonged lapse in appropriation may cause delays in the review and processing of IDR complaints and response times to inquiries.
