EDITOR'S NOTE

Caroline, Senior Commerce Editor, here. I can’t be the only one who finds this time of year to be deeply uninspiring. Instead of forcing myself to “be productive,” I’m trying to accept that this is simply a slower moment in time for me to rest up before the busy-ness of spring. As I’m hibernating, I’m enjoying these little things:

• A guided journal that helps me gather my thoughts in the morning and reflect on the day at night

• Nail concealer (in a pretty lilac shade) to give my nails a break between manicures

• The extra-dark peanut butter cups my colleague Margo put me onto

• Rose body lotion, because anything rose-scented makes me feel instantly calm
