Google has just launched “Preferred Sources”, a new feature that allows you to take control of your search results. By prioritising the sources you rely on, you can cut through the noise and see the breakthroughs, analysis and expert reporting that matter to you first.

Add  New Scientist as your preferred source to ensure you receive the latest news in science, health, technology, the environment and more, written by our expert journalists.

Alternatively, you can add New Scientist as your preferred source by following these simple steps:

1. Open Google and search for any topic, such as “Space news” or “Climate change.” Click the star icon to the right of “Top stories”

2. Search for New Scientist and tick the box 

3. Select “Reload results”
