How Paul and Craig actually became prolific

Hey a,

Over the past few days, I've shared proven frameworks and methods for finishing music you can be proud of.

Now, you might be thinking: "This sounds great in theory, but does this actually work in real life?"

That's exactly what today's email is about.

I want to introduce you to a few artists who've been exactly where you are now – struggling with the same challenges, feeling the same frustrations, and looking for a way forward.

First, it's important to understand that there are typically two types of artists who join our coaching program:

Type 1: Passionate hobbyists with stable jobs and often families, who simply want to get the most out of their limited music time and leave a legacy of tracks they're proud of.

Type 2: Aspiring full-time producers who want to build a career in music and use our program as a launchpad to develop the necessary skills and mindset for long-term success.

We treat both groups with the same amount of respect and give them the same attention to detail.

This lets us help every artist overcome their specific roadblocks to achieve their unique goals.

That's the beauty of a true, boutique 1:1 experience.

Let me share two stories that might resonate with you.

Paul's story: From 2-3 songs per year to regular releases and label signings

Remember Paul Conrad? I mentioned him briefly in my email about Strong Core Ideas.

Before joining our program, Paul was caught in a cycle that might sound familiar:

"I used to try finishing songs whenever inspiration hit. With limited time, I'd get frustrated waiting for that perfect idea, expecting every track to be a hit. I was only finishing 2-3 songs a year, which felt really frustrating."

With our support, Paul completely revamped his workflow by focusing on what actually matters. He installed our Creative Funnel system, adopted our Finisher Framework and we helped him personalize our methods to fit his style of producing.

The results of this customized approach speak for themselves:

In his first year working with us, Paul went from not even having a Spotify for Artists profile to finishing and releasing 4 EPs and 1 single.

In the following 12 months, he added 10 more released songs to his catalog.

This output transformed him from zero to over 13,000 monthly listeners on Spotify, with some tracks reaching hundreds of thousands of streams.

More importantly, his music caught the attention of respected labels like Dark City Music and Area Verde, with even more high-profile labels like Einmusika now negotiating with him for the next releases.

And best of all: During our time together we helped him establish his brand and promote his self-releases so he can now choose whether or not he wants to work with a label.

Here's what Paul says about the transformation:

"The biggest difference was streamlining the creative process. I learned that producing great music means putting in the work to find those few exceptional ideas. Now I have a clear path to follow and can select only my best tracks for release. No more feeling lost or second-guessing my progress. By dramatically increasing my output, I've pushed my skills to new levels. This is no longer just a mediocre hobby—I can see it as my future."

And it actually did become his future. Paul is now making music full-time and is even coaching artists himself inside our program.

Craig's story: From being unable to finish music to consistent releases and confidence

Meet Craig Heneveld, who produces hypnotic, raw, deep techno that's caught the attention of respected DJs worldwide and gets played in the most credible clubs.

But Craig's journey didn't start that way:

"Finishing tracks was my biggest struggle. Though I've made music all my life, I wanted to take it seriously and release techno consistently. Without a reliable process, I was just playing around with my modular synths, not really going anywhere."

We helped Craig install a reliable, repeatable process that respected his creative approach using modular synthesis while ensuring these creations actually turned into finished tracks.

Since working with us, Craig has finished and released 15 songs and solidified his artist brand.

He now has absolute clarity about what his music represents and how it should sound.

"My biggest result from this program is simple: I'm actually being prolific now. Technically, I don't have issues to fix anymore because the program helped me establish healthy production habits that I just follow consistently."

What makes Craig's story particularly impressive is that he still works a full-time job as a software developer. Yet thanks to having an effective, reliable process, he finishes more music in a month than most amateurs complete during a gap year.

Notice what transformed both these artists' journeys? It comes down to this:

  1. They installed a reliable, repeatable system (the exact one I've been sharing with you)
  2. They learned to focus their limited time on what actually moves the needle
  3. They overcame perfectionism, overthinking, and self-doubt by implementing specific frameworks
  4. They developed the confidence that only comes from consistent output

I strongly believe you can accomplish this too.

Uncovering a few blind spots, setting up a system that works for your specific situation, and training your critical listening skills is all it takes.
