⮟ Exhibitions We've Attended  Exhibiting at BSC EXPO  From February 12-14, BSC Expo, a fixture in the landscape of film and TV production shows, was held at Battersea Evolution, London. With an opportunity to test all the latest equipment and technology in a relaxed environment, the incredible line up of exhibitors networked with creative filmmakers, cinematographers, directors and students. Two full days of presentations and panel discussions, including the popular BSC Panels discussions, featured the finest in cinematography speaking on everything from starting in the industry to lighting masterclasses. The BSC Talent Bar, held during the same time, allowed opportunities for young filmmakers to meet one on one with leading professionals.  Nanlite and Nanlux had a full-scale booth at the show, with an array of products including the Evoke Series, the PavoSlim Series, the PavoTube II XR Series, Alien 150C and 300C, and the Forza 60C, 60CR, 500B II.  With nine models in the PavoSlim Series (RGBWW 60C/60CL/120C/240C/ 240CL /360C, and the bi-color 60B/120B/240B), the lights feature a slim and lightweight design with a separate control unit, allowing for fast and convenient installation, as well as high luminance and accurate color rendering. Filmmakers love it for its ability to be rapidly deployed in tight spaces.  Two Days in Paris at AFC Micro Salon From February 5-6th, at the Parc Floral in Paris, exhibitors and filmmakers networked with manufacturers, distributors, rental companies and service providers over the course of the show.  In conjunction with the Production Forum, a networking opportunity for film and audiovisual production professionals, the AFC Micro Salon dedicated two days to tools and expertise related to film image production. A new event, the Student Lab, was introduced this year at Micro Salon, helping students explore different career paths and understand the film ecosystem by encouraging intergenerational conversation with technicians, head of departments and film institutions.     Partnering with distributor Innport, a Nanlite/Nanlux representative was on site giving presentations, introducing the brands and products, including the Nebula C8 Light Engine. Other displayed products included the Evoke Series, as well as the New FC-720C, Forza 60CR, Forza 720B, PavoTube II XR Series, PavoSlim Series and the GUTEK protector cases.    Exhibiting at Photoworld Asia    From January 29-February 1st, Nanlite and Nanlux networked with the photography community of the Federation of Philippine Photographers Association (FPPA), which hosts Photoworld Asia annually.  FPPA was started in 1987 by a group of photographers, and has championed photographers to help the industry work together. Taking place at the Glorietta Activity Center in Makati, Philippines, the two-day event was filled with exhibits, panels and speakers. Numerous products on display at the Nanlite/Nanlux booth included everything from FS-300C, 300B, FC-500B, 500C, 120C, wand, miro, pico, lumo, cookie, PavoSlim 120C, Rapid Softbox 90cm/120cm, FM mount projection attachment PavoTube II 30XR to the Evoke 5000B, 600C, 150C and Gutek protector cases.  The FC-120C, part of the FC Series, was introduced in January 2025, and is a 120 watt full-color spotlight, powerable by V-Mount battery or PD adapter. For photographers, who frequently demand accurate color and portability, the Nanlite FC-120C is designed to meet those needs with a wide range of color output options, high illuminance with adjustable color temperature, various special effects and flexible power options. It’s compatibility with Nanlite’s complete ecosystem of FM mount accessories makes it an indispensable all-around lighting tool for creators.  Concurrent with PhotoWorld, Nanlite’s Philippine distributor MQ Group organized an event called "Creator Experience Day 2026" that took place near the conference at the Holiday Inn & Suites. Several experienced photographers shared their professional experience with more than 150 people in attendance.  ⮟ Events & Workshops We've Joined  Launch Events for New Products The Nanlite FC-720C, Nanlux Evoke 150C and 600C featuring the Nebula C8 Color light Engine – had their own spotlight in Indonesia at two separate launch events.   On February 3, in Surabaya, Indonesian distributor Aneka Warna Solusi organized an event utilizing the equipment in a horror concept lighting set, to show off the latitude of the equipment. At the event, other products were also on display, including the: Dyno, Forza 60CR, pico, PavoTube II 15C, PavoSlim 240CL. Two days later, in Jakarta, Nanlux & Nanlite partnered with rental company Laspro Media Sinema for a product launch, followed by a live demo on a horror-themed production set. The demonstration was led by DP Batara Goempar, ICS. As an Indonesian cinematographer, Goempar has received seven Citra Award for Best Cinematography nominations, winning two for "Before, Now & Then (2022) and Samsara (2024)". He also won the Asia Pacific Screen Award for “Samsara.”  Products utilized included the Evoke 150C, 600C and the 2400B, Nanlite’s PavoSlim 120B and the PavoTube II series.
