We’ve introduced new features in the Bitvavo app to help you respond to phone-based scams and suspicious activity.

In-App Call Detection
If someone claims to be calling from Bitvavo, you can now check in the app whether the call is actually from us.
Go to Account → Security → Check if Bitvavo is calling?

Freeze withdrawals
If something doesn’t feel right or you feel pressured during a call, freeze your crypto withdrawals immediately in your security settings.

Important reminder
Bitvavo will never ask you to share passwords, verification codes, or request that you transfer your funds.
