Március 5-én újabb mérföldkőhöz érkezünk: lezárul a Bubi harmadik generációját megelőző pilotidőszak. Gőzerővel készülünk a harmadik generáció indulására, amely rövid szünet után elhozza a vadonatúj kerékpárokat és a kibővült szolgáltatási területet.

Március 5-én kis időre leáll a MOL Bubi szolgáltatás. Este 10 órától fokozatosan leáll a rendszer, és nem lehet majd bringát bérelni, az ekkor még használatban lévő kerékpárokat pedig lezárásuk után nem lehet majd használni. Március 6-tól egy időre eltűnnek az utcáról a Bubik, a gyűjtőállomások helyére kerékpártámaszok kerülnek. Az átmeneti időszak előtt közös bulival búcsúztatjuk a Bubi második generációját, amelyről itt olvashatsz részletesen.

Gőzerővel dolgozunk a Bubi új generációján, hogy mihamarabb a vadonatúj bringákkal tekerhessetek a városban! Legkésőbb júniusban már biztosan kipróbálhatjátok az új Bubit, mindent megteszünk, hogy erre minél kevesebbet kelljen várnotok. Az új rendszerben jóval több kerékpár áll majd a rendelkezésetekre városszerte: már a kezdeti időszakban is összesen 3300 (ebből 2500 mechanikus és 800 elektromos rásegítésű) Bubi áll forgalomba, idővel pedig legalább 5000 teljesen új kerékpár szolgálja majd a közbringarendszert. Továbbá bővül a szolgáltatási terület is: célunk, hogy az új generációval olyan megállókban és városrészekben is elérhető legyen a Bubi, mint az Örs vezér tere, Kőbánya-Kispest, Újpest-városkapu, a József Attila-lakótelep, Angyalföld, Zugló vagy az Őrmező.

A tavaszi hónapokban – az új Bubi érkezéséig – is a közösségi közlekedés, valamint más fenntartható és megosztott közlekedési formák használatát ajánljuk.

On 5 March 2026, we will reach another milestone: the pilot period preceding the third generation of Bubi will come to an end. We are working hard to prepare for the launch of the third generation, which, after a short break, will bring brand new bikes and an expanded service area.

On 5 March, the MOL Bubi service will be temporarily suspended. From 22:00, the system will gradually shut down and it will no longer be possible to rent bikes. Bikes still in use at that time will no longer be usable after they are locked. From 6 March, Bubi bikes will disappear from the streets for a while, and bike racks will replace the bicycle stations. Before the transition period, we will say goodbye to the second generation of Bubi with a joint party, which you can read about in detail here.

We are working hard on the new generation of Bubi so that you can ride the brand new bikes around the city as soon as possible! You will definitely be able to try out the new Bubi by June at the latest, and we are doing everything we can to make sure you don't have to wait too long. The new system will provide you with many more bikes throughout the city: even in the initial period, a total of 3,300 Bubis (2,500 mechanical and 800 electrically assisted) will be available, and over time, at least 5,000 brand new bikes will serve the public bike system. The service area will also be expanded: our goal is to make Bubi available with the new generation at locations such as Örs vezér tere, Kőbánya-Kispest, Újpest-városkapu, József Attila-lakótelep, Angyalföld, Zugló, and Őrmező.

In the spring months, until the arrival of the new Bubi, we recommend using public transport and other sustainable and shared forms of transport.
