The Hispanic Reading Room at the Library of Congress is home to correspondence belonging to Spanish author Carmen Laforet (1921-2004), whose reading is part of the Library’s PALABRA Archive. To commemorate the anniversary of her passing on February 28, this blog will consider the unique insight this collection can provide into Laforet’s work as she communicated openly with close friends about the writing process.
