Founded in 2010, The Lovies is the Webby Awards’ benchmark for European digital excellence, recognizing the people, projects and ideas shaping Europe’s contributions to the Internet. The Early Entry Deadline to secure preferred pricing is May 8, 2026.
Europe is often described as a single story. In reality, anyone building across the region knows this has never been the case. Europe is a creative mosaic of languages, traditions, and technological approaches that work together to shape a standard of digital excellence no single culture could produce alone.
At this pivotal moment for creativity and technology, the Lovie Awards ensures that Europe’s landscape shapes a new global standard for digital excellence that works for everyone. This season, categories align more closely with the Webby Awards, placing recognized work within the global Webby ecosystem.
Work can now be entered across: Websites & Mobile Sites; Video & Film; Advertising, Media & PR; Podcasts; Apps, Immersive & Games; Social & Creators; and AI & Innovation.

The 16th Annual Lovie Awards goes deeper into Europe, with an expanded judging body, new categories, and a stronger focus on the creators shaping Europe’s digital future. New and expanded honors include:
- AI & Innovation, recognizing AI Experiences & Applications across Creative Tools, Storytelling, Entertainment & Media, Marketing, Belonging & Inclusion among others.
- New honors in AI Features & Innovation, including Best AI Agent, AI Technical Achievement, AI User Experience, Responsible AI Implementation, and Experimental & Innovation.
- Expanded recognition across Social & Creators, with Creator Excellence honors for Best Longform & Shortform Video and Thought Leadership, alongside General Creator categories for Podcast, Entertainment or Meme, and Social Impact.
- New categories in Apps, Immersive & Games within Business Software & Services, spanning Creator Tools, Developer Tools & APIs, and more.
