Baseball is back!

The Rockies come back to Coors Field on Friday for their home opener against the Phillies (2:10 p.m., TV: COLROC). This comes after winning their three-game series (!) against the Blue Jays.

Newly signed right-handed pitcher Michael Lorenzen will be starting on the mound for Colorado. Columnist Troy Renck writes how failure, faith and fortitude make him a good fit for the team.

If you want to get to know the team, here's a breakdown of the roster. And The Denver Post share their predictions for the upcoming season.
