What the program is: The CFR Education Ambassador program is an eight-month engagement that connects educators across the country with free educational resources, professional development opportunities, and a vibrant network of like-minded professionals who are committed to equipping students with the knowledge, skills, and perspective to navigate today’s connected world. There are two cohorts of ambassadors: high school and higher education. The 2026-2027 cohorts will run from September 2026 to April 2027.

Higher Education Ambassador program: Professors, instructors, and administrators who incorporate global affairs into international relations, history, public policy, area studies, economics, law, environmental studies, public health, or other related disciplines.
When to apply: Applications are open until Friday, May 22, at 11:59 p.m. PT. If you are passionate about global affairs and connecting with fellow educators, this program is for you.
