Census Bureau Releases New U.S. Population Estimates by Age and Sex
On April 9, the U.S. Census Bureau is set to release a downloadable file containing estimates of the nation’s resident population by sex and single year of age as of July 1, 2025.
Business Formation Statistics Monthly Data Release
On April 8, the U.S. Census Bureau will release new Business Formation Statistics (BFS) for March 2026. The BFS provide timely and high frequency information on new business applications and formations in the United States and Puerto Rico.
On April 9, the U.S Census Bureau will release Business Trends and Outlook Survey (BTOS). The survey measures business conditions on an ongoing basis. BTOS experimental data products are representative of all employer businesses other than farms in the U.S. economy. The data allow greater insight into the state of the economy by providing continuous, timely information for key economic measures. Data are released biweekly and are available by sector, state, employment size and the 25 most populous metropolitan statistical areas. New questions on artificial intelligence (AI) were added November 17 and new AI supplemental content will be released April 23.
