From February 1, 2026, through March 31, 2026, reporting entities submitted their 2025 data to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). The Program Year 2025 data will be published this coming June.
Now is your opportunity to review the data before it is published. Covered recipient review of the data is voluntary but strongly encouraged as this ensures the accuracy of the data.

Reviewing the Open Payments records that are attributed to you is important for many reasons. This allows you to preview the data before it’s published on the Open Payments Search Tool. You can verify that the information is correct or dispute data if you believe it’s inaccurate.
Patients may use Open Payments data to make decisions about their health care. Researchers and the media also use Open Payments data to make a variety of inquires. CMS recommends that you make sure the information about you is accurately reported so that it can be correctly contextualized.
Please keep in mind the following reminders:
-
Disputes must be initiated by May 15, 2026, to be reflected in the June data publication.
-
Registration in the Open Payments system is required to participate in review and dispute activities.
