Picture Day Volunteer Needed
Terraset is in need of 1-2 picture day parent volunteers on Thursday, April 30th from 9:20 am to 3:00 pm. The volunteers would help line up students for individual student pictures and help classes get lined up for the group class pictures. If you are available and interested in this opportunity, please email president@terrasetpto.org.
Join Us for Our Next PTO Meeting on Wednesday, April 29
We’ll be meeting in the library at 6:30pm to vote to approve next year’s slate of officers and sharing updates from our officers and Committee Chairs.
Refreshments will be provided in the meeting and childcare with pizza will be provided for school-aged children who attend.
The meeting will also highlight both big and small ways to get involved next year—from supporting our new officers and committee chairs to helping coordinate events and projects. Come out to the meeting and find the level of involvement that’s right for you!

Staff Appreciation Week Is May 4-8
Staff Appreciation Week (May 4–8) is right around the corner, and this year we’re celebrating our amazing staff with a Tropical theme.
Please consider donating funds or wish list items to help us create a fun, relaxing, island-inspired week to show our appreciation for all they do!

Stuff the Bus 2026 Is Tomorrow!
Join the South Lakes Pyramid schools in making a difference!
All schools in the South Lakes Pyramid are collecting donations for the South Lakes High School Food Pantry and tomorrow, Friday, April 24, an FCPS bus will travel from school to school to STUFF THE BUS with all collected donations!
Most Needed Items:
- Canned goods (tuna, chicken, veggies, soup, fruit)
- Plastic bottles/jars (cooking oil, peanut butter, jelly, spices)
- Box/dry goods (rice, dried beans, pasta, cereal, boxed milk)
- Hygiene products (shampoo, deodorant, toothpaste, diapers-4/5, baby wipes)
Let's come together and support families in need! Drop off your donations in the Terraset lobby today or tomorrow morning.

Do You Have a Stuffie Who Would Like to Spend the Night at Terraset?
On Tuesday, April 28, you can drop off your stuffie for a Stuffie Sleepover!
Plush friends will have overnight adventures throughout the building, and you'll get to see photos of all of the fun (and possibly mischief?) they enjoyed.
Stuffies can be picked up the next day, Wednesday, April 29.
The cost will be $25 per stuffie and registration is open now through 9 pm on Monday, April 27.
The Stuffie Sleepover is a fundraiser for the 2026 Sixth Grade Send-Off

Get Ready for Tigers on the Run: Where Every Lap Is a Goal!
Our spring Terraset PTO fundraiser launches in May, leading up to a high-energy fun run during Field Day in June. This is a great way for students to stay active while supporting our school—more information coming soon!
You Are Invited to Join Pack 32 for Its Raingutter Regatta
Build your own boat, race it down the track, and discover the fun of Cub Scouts!
Kids in grades K–5 are invited to build and decorate their own mini sailboats, then race them down water-filled tracks! No experience needed. Just come ready for fun. Free pizza, snacks, and info about joining.

SLHS Youth Baseball Night Is Tomorrow Night!
Youth baseball players, wear your jersey to the South Lakes High School baseball game tomorrow night - Friday, April 24 - and get free game entry, a free hot dog meal, and entry into a raffle for prizes! Arrive by 6 pm for the chance to be on the field during the team intro. The South Lakes vs. Oakton game will begin at 6:30 pm, and after the game all youth can run the bases!

We all need a little Dolly in our life! Come see 9 to 5, a musical about three underestimated women who turn the tables on their boss in the most unexpected way. Full of big laughs, catchy music, this show is all about finding your voice, standing your ground, and lifting each other up. Rated PG-13 for mature content, so this show is great for a date night and older kids.

¡«Stuff the Bus 2026» es mañana!

¿Alguna vez te has preguntado cómo sería pasar la noche en Terraset?
El martes 28 de abril, ¡podrás traer tu peluche para una «Pijamada de Peluches»!
Los amigos de peluche vivirán aventuras nocturnas por todo el edificio, y ustedes podrán ver fotos de toda la diversión (¿y tal vez alguna travesura?) que disfrutaron.
Los peluches podrán recogerse al día siguiente: el miércoles 29 de abril.
