Dear LJ  Families,

We are excited to share that we kicked off our “Pawsitively ROARsome” Positive Behavior Referral initiative this week! This initiative is designed to recognize and celebrate students who demonstrate kindness, responsibility, and positivity throughout our school community.

A big thank you to our PTA for their generous donations of fantastic prizes that are helping make this program extra special. Students who receive a positive referral from any staff member are awarded a mini certificate along with a treat coupon. These coupons can be redeemed for a treat during lunch every other Friday.

Our next treat day will be May 8, so we encourage you to talk with your student about continuing to show positivity and kindness toward others in our school community.

We are also excited for our first Track & Field meet of the season this Saturday, April 25, at Mount Vernon High School beginning at 8:00 AM. Come out and cheer on our Tigers!
