The Sunshine Scoop
Dear Families,
We had a great week of learning this week. We also had our PTA STEAM Fair, Kindergarten Orientation and our AAP Orientation. We are looking forward to welcoming these new students to our school next year. We look forward to our Band, Strings and Chorus Concerts next week, as well as our PTA International Night on Friday, May 1.
As a reminder, you have the opportunity to complete an optional “Class Assignment Parent Survey” for the upcoming year. You can access the survey at our Louise Archer website, under the announcements “Class Assignment Parent Survey". Or, you can go directly to the google form here. Complete the fillable form, submit it, and the information will go directly to administration and will be shared with the grade level teachers during the placement process.
Please submit the electronic form no later than May 1, 2026. Late submissions or separate emails will not be considered. Thanks for continuing to have trust in our school and working together to create the most successful environment for your child(ren) at Louise Archer each year!

Parent Coffee Opportunities
Louise Archer will host two parent coffees next week. Please mark your calendars. Discussion items for these parent coffees include:
- Learning about the new student transfer process for LAES,
- Understanding the new criteria for Algebra 1 HN placement in 6th grade and learning helpful considerations regarding this course enrollment decision, and
- Sharing reminders for important school dates and procedures
There will be two options for attendance:
Wednesday, April 29 at 9:30AM in person in the Louise Archer Cafeteria (or virtually using this Zoom link) OR
Wednesday, April 29 at 5:30PM in person in the Louise Archer Cafeteria (or virtually using this Zoom link).
6th Grade Promotion
6th Grade promotion will be held on Tuesday, June 16, at 10:00. Families of 6th grade students, please save this date.
