ChargePoint has introduced its Express Solo DC fast charger, a stand-alone unit that delivers up to 600 kilowatts, making it the fastest of its kind for passenger electric vehicles. Co-developed with Eaton, the charger supports CCS and NACS connectors and can integrate with solar and energy storage systems.

Report: EVs Barely Lose Any Range, Even After Five Years

Recent electric vehicles are retaining their driving range much better than expected, with a Recurrent report showing that EVs on average retain 97% of their range after three years and 95% after five years. Automakers such as Ford Motor, Hyundai and Mercedes-Benz are using software updates and improved battery technology to minimize perceived degradation.
