To ensure a safe and focused digital learning environment, our school administration is now receiving automated notifications from the Department of Information Technology whenever a student violates the Fairfax County Public Schools Acceptable Use Policy. These alerts specifically identify attempts to bypass cybersecurity safeguards, such as using proxy services to access blocked games or inappropriate content. When an infraction occurs, we are required to review the incident and take appropriate disciplinary action in accordance with the Student Rights and Responsibilities (SR&R) guidelines. We encourage you to speak with your child about the importance of using their school-issued devices responsibly.
