A Message from Principal Peterson

This week, we celebrated Earth Week at Riverside! We spent time reflecting on how we care for our planet and the role each of us plays in protecting it for future generations. Throughout the week, our students engaged in activities that promote environmental awareness, responsibility, and appreciation for the world around us.

We are also proud to spotlight a recent upgrade in our building, our new Green Energy & Water Efficient Drinking Fountains! These fountains help us conserve water, reduce waste, and provide students with a cleaner, more sustainable way to stay hydrated throughout the day. Small changes like this make a big impact, and we’re thrilled to continue finding ways to be more environmentally responsible as a school community.

You can join in the spirit of Earth Week at home by encouraging simple habits like turning off lights when leaving a room, recycling, or spending time outdoors appreciating nature. Together, these actions help our students see that caring for the Earth is something we can all do every day.
