Our artists enjoyed the beautiful weather this week and took advantage of our outdoor classroom space! 

Dear Woodburn Families,

As we enter the final stretch of the school year, we are preparing for important end-of-year assessments, including SOLs. We ask for your partnership in ensuring students are set up for success each day by getting a good night’s rest, eating a healthy breakfast, and arriving at school on time. Consistent attendance is especially important during this time, as each day of instruction and testing matters.

We are also looking forward to many exciting end-of-year events, including final field trips and celebrations across grade levels. We appreciate your support in helping students stay focused and ready to fully participate in both their learning and these memorable experiences.

As we begin planning for next school year, we invite families to complete a short form to share any input regarding their child’s placement. I also want to share that Ms. Dauberman, our Assistant Principal, will be going on leave soon. We are grateful for her continued dedication to our school community and wish her well during this time. We are excited to welcome Ms. Mariela DeKraker, who will be serving as our Acting Assistant Principal while Ms. Dauberman is away.
