I was just telling my neighbor about that trail we explored last weekend. The weather held up perfectly and we ended up staying way longer than planned. He mentioned he'd been wanting to check out that same area but never found the time. I showed him a few photos on my phone and he was genuinely impressed by how clear the creek was. Everyone's been so busy lately that it's been hard to coordinate schedules but I think if we plan far enough ahead it could work out. He also mentioned a different route that connects to the main loop which I hadn't heard about before. I looked it up later and it seems like it adds about two miles but the views are supposed to be even better. Might be worth trying next time.

You know, I finally got around to organizing that bookshelf I've been putting off for months. It took most of the afternoon but it feels really good to have everything in order now. I found a few old notebooks I thought I'd lost and ended up flipping through them instead of actually cleaning. j72yquhVKaRr Some of the notes were from a few years ago and it was interesting to see how much has changed since then. I should probably digitize them at some point before they fall apart completely. I also came across a recipe card that my grandmother wrote out years ago. I remember making that dish with her when I was young. Maybe I'll try cooking it again this weekend and see if it tastes as good as I remember. It's funny how certain things can bring back such clear memories from so long ago. I might even try tweaking the recipe a little to see if I can make it my own version.
