Hey Iza,
I just had a really interesting conversation with one of my inner circle members the other day.
She is a renowned female career advisor and coach, Richa Bansal. She said this one line that I think relates a lot to us as coaches...
It's one phrase that she said costs most women a lot of money....
"I am lucky to have this job." i.e Opportunity
That sentence just cost you $50,000. Maybe more.
She said the same mindset that keeps corporate professionals undervaluing themselves is the exact same mindset that keeps you undercharging for your programs.
You think "I'm lucky they want to work with me" instead of "they're lucky to work with me."
You negotiate from a place of scarcity instead of abundance.
And then you wonder why you can't charge what you're worth.
The fix isn't better sales tactics.
It's a complete mindset shift.
From "I'm lucky to have this" to "they're lucky to have me."
I know the first thought that came up for me was "I don't wanna sound arrogant or prideful."
Then she said, "It's almost never the people who feel uncomfortable saying this that are actually prideful or arrogant. In fact, if you feel uncomfortable saying this, it's probably because you're not owning your value enough."
Dang!
When you shift the power from external to internal, everything changes.
You can finally have the conversations that lead to premium pricing.
This isn't just theory.
People who make this shift don't just get promoted, they get 30%, 40%, sometimes 50% increases.
Coaches who make this shift stop undercharging and start filling high-ticket programs.
And that's why I had Richa Bansal on this week's episode. She's built a seven-figure business teaching women how to step into leadership roles and get paid what they're worth.

Here's what we unpack and how to apply it immediately:
1. Shift from "I'm lucky to have this" to "They're lucky to have me"
Most people put clients on a pedestal and make themselves feel small. That creates imposter syndrome. The shift? Realize YOU made that role amazing through your work. The power is internal. When you see yourself and the client as equals, you can negotiate like equals.
2. Mindset is a strategy (not just a nice-to-have)
You can have all the tactics in the world, but if your mindset isn't right, you won't give yourself permission to go for it. No tactical things will work until your mindset is in the right place. You can't tactics your way out of believing you're not good enough.
3. Fight for the prospect (not just for the sale)
Richa's sales philosophy: if she's done her job, the person leaves with an aha moment. It doesn't matter if they buy. Her job is to fight for the prospect's future. When you care more about their transformation than your commission, sales becomes service.
4. Growth requires letting go (even when margins are great)
Richa hit seven figures as a solopreneur with great margins. But to help a million women, she can't do it alone. Growth means letting go of control and trusting others to care as deeply as you do.
If you've been playing small, undercharging, or waiting for permission to step into the next level...
This episode will shake something loose.
