Yeah, I went to that new ramen spot you mentioned — the one with the little robot that brings out the bowls. It was pretty good honestly. The broth was richer than I expected and the noodles had a nice chew. I tried the spicy miso and it had just enough kick without being overwhelming. The place was busy even on a Tuesday night so I guess word is spreading. I sat at the counter and watched them work which was cool. They have these little side dishes too like pickled radish and marinated egg. I think you would like it. Let me know if you want to go together sometime. I also heard they do lunch specials that are cheaper. Might be worth trying if you are free next week. Anyway just wanted to share that since you asked. I have been meaning to text you back sooner.

Oh and I finally started that book you left at my place. The first few chapters are a little slow but the writing is really nice. Some of the descriptions remind me of that trip we took a few years ago. I will bring it next time I see you. Or maybe I can just mail it if you need it back soon. No rush on my end. I told my neighbor I would help him repaint his fence this weekend and now I am kind of regretting it because I forgot how much work that is. Last time I did mine it took forever and my arms were sore for two days. But he helped me move that big couch last spring so I owe him one. Plus his wife always brings out lemonade and cookies which makes it a little better. I think we are only doing the front section so maybe it will go fast. He bought one of those sprayer things so we might be able to finish in a few hours. I will let you know how it goes. If you want to come by and laugh at us feel free. I am sure we will look ridiculous in our painting clothes.

Also I finally tried that coffee shop near the train station that you mentioned. Their cold brew is really smooth and not bitter at all. I had a pastry too that was still warm. I might start stopping there on my way in. The line moved pretty quick which surprised me. Anyway just a few updates from my week. Hope everything is good on your end.
