Costco Wholesale Membership Update
I meant to get back sooner, but the afternoon disappeared while I was sorting out the tiny chores I kept postponing.
I did end up trying that park loop you suggested, and it was actually quieter than I expected, which helped clear my head a bit.
I brought water, forgot a hat, and still managed to enjoy the long shaded stretch near the middle.
Afterward I kept it simple and made soup, then spent an hour rearranging a shelf that definitely did not need my attention.
I think I was just in the mood to reset something easy.
The rest of the evening was calm, mostly reading, folding laundry, and pretending I would organize the hallway cupboard next.
I still have not done that part, but at least the idea is living rent free in my mind and making itself useful somehow.

I finally tried the recipe you sent, and the main thing I learned is that my kitchen becomes twice as messy when I am feeling confident.
The result was surprisingly decent, though, so I am calling it progress instead of chaos.
I changed a few steps halfway through because I realized I was missing one ingredient, and somehow that made it feel less stressful.
While everything was cooking I opened the windows, watered the plants, and listened to the same album three times without noticing.
It ended up being one of those slow evenings that looks ordinary from the outside but feels restorative in a very real way.
I should probably repeat that routine more often, especially on days when my brain feels too crowded and every tiny task starts blending together.
