Membership Extension
Hey, thanks for the recommendation about the walking trail near the river. I took the dogs there yesterday afternoon and it was exactly what we needed. The path was well shaded, and there were plenty of benches to sit and just watch the water go by. I even saw a few people fishing near the bridge. It's nice to find a spot that isn't too crowded or noisy, just a peaceful escape from the usual routine. I think I'll make it a regular part of my week if I can. Let me know if you want to join sometime next weekend, it's always better with good company. Also, I finally finished assembling that bookshelf I got a few months ago. It was tricky figuring out the instructions, but it looks great in the corner of the study. Hope you're having a good week!

Oh, you were right about that new bakery downtown! I stopped by this morning and grabbed a loaf of that sourdough and a cinnamon roll. The texture of the bread was incredible, really crusty on the outside and soft inside. The cinnamon roll wasn't too sweet either, which I appreciated. I also tried their cold brew which had a really smooth finish. It's definitely going to become a regular stop for me. By the way, how did your volunteer event go last Saturday? I was sorry I couldn't make it, but I heard it was a great turnout. If you're planning another one next month, I'd love to help out. Just let me know what you need. I'm also thinking of starting a small herb garden on the balcony. Maybe some basil and mint to start with. Let me know if you have any tips!
