They have this really cozy back patio with string lights and some old bookshelves, which makes it perfect for reading or just catching up with friends without feeling rushed. So I finally finished putting together that bookshelf I bought last month. It took way longer than I expected because some of the screws were missing, and I had to make a run to the hardware store. Honestly, assembling furniture is not my favorite activity, but the end result looks pretty decent in the corner of the living room. I've already started stacking some of my old favorites on it. I also rearranged a few plants around it to give the space a bit more life. My cat seems to approve too, which is always a relief. Next project is probably going to be painting the spare room.
