What a dynamic week it has been here at school! From the quiet focus of testing hallways to the vibrant energy of our outdoor projects, our students continue to impress us with their resilience and school spirit.
We are incredibly proud to announce that our 3rd through 6th-grade students have officially completed their Reading SOLs! We want to thank our families for your support in ensuring students arrived well-rested and ready to show what they know. While we are in the middle of our testing window, our momentum is strong; our staff remains deeply focused on delivering essential grade-level skills to ensure every student finishes the year strong.
While the recent rain has certainly tried to dampen our Get 2 Green mural painting schedule, it hasn’t been a total washout! We’ve been busy rescheduling the classes that missed their initial time slots, and our fingers are crossed for clear skies so we can complete the mural this week. We can’t wait to showcase this student work, which beautifully blends artistic expression with meaningful, content-related themes to brighten our school.
We have officially concluded our Horseshoes and Hoops initiative, and the results were nothing short of spectacular.
Our students earned over 1,500 horseshoes this season by consistently demonstrating the Saratoga expectations of being Safe, Caring, and a Community.
To celebrate this milestone, students enjoyed their final reward: getting to select their own seats for one academic block! It was wonderful to see the excitement in the classrooms. A huge shout-out goes to our SCA for coming up with such a creative way to celebrate our collective accomplishments.

Saratoga ES Summer 2026 Laptop Request Form To support continued learning this summer, FCPS is providing digital resources in Mathematics, Language Arts, Science, and Social Studies. These tools can be accessed on any home device; however, if your student requires a laptop, they are available for checkout from Saratoga ES. Please remember to complete one form per child before June 1st.

RINCÓN DE LOS DIRECTORES
¡Qué semana tan dinámica hemos tenido aquí en la escuela! Desde la tranquila concentración en los pasillos durante los exámenes hasta la vibrante energía de nuestros proyectos al aire libre, nuestros estudiantes continúan impresionándonos con su resiliencia y espíritu escolar.
¡Estamos increíblemente orgullosos de anunciar que nuestros estudiantes de 3.er a 6.º grado han completado oficialmente sus exámenes SOL de Lectura! Queremos agradecer a nuestras familias por su apoyo para asegurar que los estudiantes llegaran bien descansados y listos para demostrar lo que saben. Aunque nos encontramos en plena temporada de exámenes, mantenemos un fuerte impulso; nuestro personal sigue profundamente enfocado en impartir las habilidades esenciales correspondientes a cada nivel académico para garantizar que cada estudiante termine el año con éxito.
Si bien las lluvias recientes ciertamente han intentado entorpecer nuestro cronograma para pintar el mural del proyecto "Get 2 Green", ¡no ha sido un fracaso total! Hemos estado muy ocupados reprogramando las clases que perdieron sus turnos iniciales, y cruzamos los dedos para que haya cielos despejados y así poder completar el mural esta misma semana. Estamos ansiosos por exhibir este trabajo de nuestros estudiantes, el cual combina bellamente la expresión artística con temas significativos relacionados con el plan de estudios, para así llenar de luz nuestra escuela.
Hemos concluido oficialmente nuestra iniciativa "Horseshoes and Hoops" (Herraduras y Aros), y los resultados han sido nada menos que espectaculares.
Nuestros estudiantes ganaron más de 1.500 herraduras esta temporada al demostrar de manera constante las expectativas de Saratoga: ser Seguros, Solidarios y una Comunidad.
Para celebrar este hito, los estudiantes disfrutaron de su recompensa final: ¡poder elegir sus propios asientos durante un bloque académico! Fue maravilloso ver la emoción en las aulas. Un enorme reconocimiento a nuestra SCA (Asociación de Estudiantes) por idear una forma tan creativa de celebrar nuestros logros colectivos.

Formulario de solicitud de computadora portátil para el verano de 2026 en Saratoga ES
Para apoyar la continuidad del aprendizaje durante este verano, FCPS ofrece recursos digitales en Matemáticas, Artes del Lenguaje, Ciencias y Estudios Sociales. Se puede acceder a estas herramientas desde cualquier dispositivo doméstico; no obstante, si su estudiante requiere una computadora portátil, estas están disponibles para préstamo en Saratoga ES. Por favor, recuerde completar un formulario por cada niño antes del 1.º de junio.
