Most frontend teams didn’t sign up to build product “systems,” but that’s what the job is turning into.

AI is pushing interfaces past static screens. The UI now has to adapt to intent, context, and tool outcomes. And when that happens, two things get painfully hard: keeping the experience coherent, and keeping the codebase predictable.

You’ve already heard who we brought in to help with that. We mentioned Erik Hanchett and Saurabh Rob Dahal in the last email. They’re AWS Developer Advocates working at the intersection of AI and frontend tooling at scale, and they’re bringing production-level thinking to a free event anyone can join.

Now we’re adding the next layer of complexity, and the practical patterns for dealing with it.

Frontend Nation just announced its first official workshop, and we are proud to say that our own Alex Garrett-Smith is hosting it!

The goal is simple: stop guessing. You’ll build on a working prototype where a user profile and a freeform prompt determine which tools get called and which interface gets rendered, so different users can see completely different UI from the same input without your app turning into a fragile nest of conditionals.
