A message from Principal Steven McFarlane
Believe it or not, we only have five weeks of school until the end of the school year. Our teachers and students are working hard to finish the year strong. We also have lots of fun events coming up, including Broadway Desserts, end of the year concerts for Band, Orchestra, and Chorus, as well as our 8th grade promotion ceremonies. Be sure to check below for more details.
It is typical to have an uptick in challenging student behavior, as the end of the school year approaches. To head this off, our staff continues to reteach expectations and to hold our students accountable. I would appreciate it if you would talk to your child about the importance of moving quickly to class during transitions, walking calmly, and the importance of students keeping their hands to themselves.

The math department worked hard, pumping up students for their Math SOL this past Wednesday. They lined the main hall dressed as fans, cheering loudly for all students during arrival. It was a fun way to start the morning and brought smiles to both students and adults |
