Construction of the new Huntingdon VA Outpatient Clinic is moving ahead smoothly, with major progress visible on-site. The lobby is already showcasing a modern, updated design that will offer a warm and welcoming experience for Veterans. We look forward to sharing more milestones as the project continues.

Event Spotlight
 The VA2K Walk & Roll, May 20th from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM, is a fun, 1.24-mile event that encourages employees, Veterans, and community members to embrace the benefits of healthy physical activity during the workday. This initiative not only promotes wellness but also supports Veterans experiencing homelessness. All participants are invited to make voluntary donations—100% of which will go directly to support homeless Veterans within our care.
In conjunction with VA2K, JEVZ VAMC will also host an Enrollment and Information Fair at the Main Medical Center located at 2907 Pleasant Valley Blvd. Altoona, PA 16602.
Veterans and their families are encouraged to attend and connect with Enrollment and Eligibility Specialists and other VA service staff. This is your opportunity to enroll in VA healthcare, update or file service-connected disability claims, and learn more about the wide array of resources available.
If you orThank someone you know has questions about VA healthcare or wishes to apply, we encourage you to stop by. To expedite enrollment, please bring a copy of your DD214, previous year’s financial information, and insurance details.
This event coincides with a landmark year—commemorating the 80th anniversary of the Veterans Health Administration and looking ahead to America’s 250th birthday. Join us in honoring our history, supporting our Veterans, and building a healthier future together.
