Fed up with the messiness of modern dating? For a growing number of Western men, the answer is simple: leave. So-called
“passport bros”
are moving to places such as Thailand, Vietnam and the Philippines in search of more “traditional” partners—and a cheaper and easier life. Their videos show women performing such acts of care as cooking dinner, tidying up after them and even kneeling on the floor to clip their nails. I travelled to Vietnam to meet the bros and the women dating them, to understand what motivates both. |
