Hey thanks for the note about the trail conditions last weekend. I ended up going on Sunday instead and the path was in great shape after the rain we had. A few muddy spots near the creek crossing but nothing too bad. The wildflowers were blooming along the upper ridge which was a nice surprise. I saw a pair of hawks circling overhead for most of the morning. Total hike was about six miles round trip with around 1200 feet of elevation gain. Took us about three and a half hours with a short break at the summit. The weather was perfect mid-sixties and mostly sunny. I packed sandwiches and we ate lunch at the lookout point. Definitely going back next month when the leaves start changing. Let me know if you want to join next time. 0stq55mEelglZ3 I can send you the GPX file if you want to try the route yourself.

I finally got around to repotting that monstera you gave me and it's already putting out two new leaves. The roots were getting pretty tangled so I went up one pot size and added a moss pole for support. I mixed in some perlite and orchid bark with the soil to improve drainage. It seems to really like the spot by the east window where it gets morning sun. I've been watering it about once a week when the top two inches feel dry. I also started propagating a few cuttings in water just to see if they'll root. Your plant collection must be huge by now given how many you've shared with people. Anyway thanks again for the cutting it's doing great and I'm excited to watch it grow.
