Hey, I finally tried making homemade pasta last weekend and it turned out way better than I expected. I used that recipe you sent me with the semolina and egg ratio. The dough came together really nicely and I rolled it out thin enough that it cooked in about two minutes. I made a simple brown butter sage sauce to go with it. Next time I want to try stuffed pasta like ravioli or tortellini. Have you ever tried using a pasta machine or do you still roll by hand? Let me know if you want to try making some together sometime. I also found a great farmers market nearby that sells fresh eggs and semolina flour for reasonable prices. The eggs have deep orange yolks that give the pasta a beautiful golden color U0daH7X3cqyI. It makes such a difference compared to supermarket eggs. I'll send you the recipe I used.

Anyway, let me know what you think. We could even make a batch together next weekend if you're free. I've been wanting to experiment with different shapes like pappardelle and orecchiette.

I spent the afternoon repotting some of my houseplants and discovered that my snake plant had completely rootbound itself in a pot that was way too small. I moved it up to a bigger terracotta pot with fresh soil mix and it looks much happier. My monstera is also putting out a new leaf with those signature fenestrations. I have been using a moisture meter to avoid overwatering and it helps a lot. Do you use any particular soil blend for your plants or just whatever bag you grab at the store? I am thinking about adding a grow light for the winter months since my apartment does not get great natural light on the north side. Some of my succulents have been stretching a bit which is a sign they want more light. I also picked up a small fern at the nursery last week and it is adjusting well to the humidity in the bathroom.

Let me know if you have any tips for keeping the monstera leaves from getting dusty. I have been wiping them with a damp cloth but it seems like they get dirty again pretty fast.
