I really think the garden project is going to come together nicely this weekend. We were debating whether to use composite or natural wood for the raised beds, and after a lot of back and forth we decided to go with cedar. It just looks better and will hold up to the rain we get. Plus it smells amazing when you cut it. The kids are excited to plant tomatoes and peppers. We might try some basil too since it keeps the bugs away. My neighbor said I should stagger the planting so we have a continuous harvest rather than everything ripening at once. YLs1mlrd0wBKli That makes sense. I need to pick up some soil and compost tomorrow morning if I can get out early enough. I also want to try a few flowers around the border to attract pollinators. My wife suggested marigolds and I think she is right about that.

I finally got around to reading that book you recommended and I have to say it was even better than I expected. The way the author builds tension in the second half kept me up way too late on a weeknight. I can see why you said it would be right up my alley. The characters felt real and the setting was almost like another character in itself. I finished it last night and now I am trying to figure out what to read next. I was thinking of trying something similar but maybe with a lighter tone. Do you have any suggestions for what to pick up next I trust your taste more than the algorithm at this point. Also I heard there might be a film adaptation in the works which could be interesting or terrible depending on who gets attached to direct.
