Hey, I finally got a chance to look into that project you mentioned last week. I think the idea has a lot of potential, especially if we lean into the community aspect. I was talking to a few people who would love to contribute, and they had some really interesting perspectives on how to structure the initial rollout. Honestly, the timing might be perfect since everyone seems energized about new initiatives right now. Let me know if you want to grab coffee next Tuesday to walk through some rough sketches I put together.

I also found a few references from similar things that worked well in other cities. It might be useful to adapt some of those strategies rather than starting completely from scratch. What do you think? I can share the links if you're interested. No rush, just wanted to get the ball rolling while the idea is fresh.

Oh, I completely forgot to tell you about the hiking trip last weekend. The weather was absolutely perfect, not too hot and just a slight breeze. We took the trail up to the ridge and found this little spot overlooking the valley. Packed a lunch and just sat there for a couple hours talking about books and travel plans. Saw a deer on the way back down, which was pretty magical. You would have loved it.

We'll definitely have to plan a group trip out there before the season changes. I checked the park calendar, and they have some guided night hikes coming up next month. Could be a fun way to see the stars and learn a bit about the local wildlife. Let me know if that sounds interesting! I'm free most weekends, so just pick a date and I'll drive.
