I
would love to be able to tell you that I'm always positive, always happy,
and always seeing the cup overflowing.
But that wouldn't be the
truth.
There are a lot of moving parts in my life right now.
Things shifting, changing, morphing. And recently, I found myself feeling
completely overwhelmed. I described it to one of my girlfriends as feeling
like an elephant was sitting on my chest.
Maybe you've felt
something like that too.
Of course, I know the things that
help. I know I need to breathe. I know I need to move the energy through my
body, go for a walk, meditate, get quiet and still.
But when you're in the middle of the storm, even the simplest things
can feel hard.
And in the middle of all of it, I realized
something really important.
Before I can shift my
energy… Before I can move into a higher frequency…
Before I can “fix” how I'm feeling…
I first
need to give myself grace.
Because my mind can very quickly go
to:
“You should know better.” “You
teach this stuff.” “You should be able to control
this.”
But the truth is, I'm human too.
And
the moment I stop judging myself and allow myself some grace, everything
softens. That's what helps me take the next breath. That's what helps me
choose the walk, the stillness, the meditation, or whatever it is I need in
that moment to reconnect with myself again.
Sometimes healing
doesn't begin with doing more. Sometimes it begins with compassion.
That's one of the reasons I'm so excited to share this
experience from Master Mingtong with you.
Master Mingtong is the founder of The Chi Center and has spent more than 30
years teaching Wisdom Healing Qigong to tens of thousands of people around
the world. He trained directly under Dr. Pang Ming, founder of the world's
largest medicine-free Qigong hospital in China.
And what I love
about this upcoming experience is how gentle and accessible it is.
You don't need to overhaul your life or commit to hours of practice
every day.
It's simply five days. One hour a day. A
space to breathe, reconnect, and let the practice meet you exactly where
you are right now.
If your mind, body, or heart has been asking
for a reset lately, I encourage you to check it out. It's called
The 5-Day Embodied Awakening Qigong Challenge and it
begins June 1st.
The challenge is live,
online, and completely free. Register here!

If you find yourself in a place
where you're beating yourself up... try using this affirmation not as a way
to “fix” yourself, but as a moment of self-support.
Place your hand on your heart, take a slow deep breath, and repeat the
affirmation gently to yourself when you feel overwhelmed, emotionally
heavy, anxious, or stuck in self-judgment.
"I trust myself
to take the next aligned step with love and compassion."
You can say it first thing in the morning before reaching for your
phone. The key is not to force yourself into feeling better instantly.
It's to create enough softness and safety inside yourself so your energy
can naturally begin to shift.
Here's to softer moments and
stronger hearts, Nat ~ Mind Movies
