Most engineers can handle basic Rust tutorials and exercises just fine. But the moment they try to build large Rust systems from scratch, everything falls apart. Architecture gets complex. Async code becomes messy. Ownership or lifetime issues start appearing everywhere.
That’s usually the point where tutorials stop working (and also where people start giving up). But that’s also where the most important Rust learnings happen. This is the stage where a lot of engineers: Either: Fight against it head-on, and continue improving past this point. Or: Stay stuck, without ever feeling confident building larger Rust projects on their own.
We’ve seen this pattern from engineers at all levels. …Including Senior Engineers to CTOs, who were great engineers but still felt awkward building larger Rust systems on their own. That’s exactly the gap we focus on inside the Rust Live Accelerator. And here’s the good news: We’re opening applications for the next cohort… very soon. More info coming soon. Stay tuned, Bogdan
