A Note from the Principal

As we move into June, there is still much to celebrate at Liberty. This week, we are especially excited for our National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) Induction and Pinning Ceremony. This event recognizes students who have demonstrated excellence in scholarship, leadership, service, character, and citizenship. We look forward to celebrating both our incoming 7th-grade NJHS members and our 8th-grade students as they are pinned and recognized for their accomplishments. It is always inspiring to see the hard work and dedication of our students honored in this way.

The final weeks of the school year are filled with many memorable moments, and we are grateful for the opportunity to celebrate our students' achievements while continuing to support their learning and growth. We appreciate your partnership in helping students stay engaged, attend regularly, and finish the year strong.

Thank you for your continued support and for sharing your children with us each day. I am grateful to be part of the Liberty community.

End-of-Year Celebration Expectations

Our end-of-year celebrations are coming up soon. To attend, students must keep up good behavior and attendance through the last days of school. Students can lose celebration privileges if they do not meet attendance or behavior expectations, such as excessive unexcused tardies or suspensions.

This rule applies to behavior and attendance during these dates:

  • Tuesday, June 9 through Monday, June 15

Students will get more details during Unity Time this Wednesday. These students will go to another room during the celebration. Staff will supervise them.

Missing Chargers

There is a $29 fee for missing chargers. You can pay this fee online through MySchoolBucks, or you can bring cash or a check to the Front Office.

Summer Classes

If your child needs their device for summer programs, they must complete the Summer Device Request Form. This form is available on the All Student Schoology Page. Students must use their school Google account to access it. They will have time to complete this form during school on June 5.

Summer Drop-Off

If your student keeps their device for summer programs, you must return it in July when the program ends. A tech drop-off option will be available during regular front office hours.

Post-Collection Reminder

Please look for a follow-up email after June 9 if your student owes any fees for missing items.

Important Note for 8th Graders

Rising 9th graders must return all middle school technology before the end of the summer. If you do not return these items, your student will not be able to receive a new device at their high school.
