Dear Aldrin Families,
As we enter the final weeks of the 2025-2026 school year, I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to each member of our Aldrin community for helping make this year so successful.
To our families, thank you for your unwavering support, partnership, and commitment to your children's education. Your involvement, encouragement, and collaboration have helped create an environment where our students can thrive. We are truly grateful for all you do to support our school.
To our exceptional Aldrin staff, thank you for your dedication, professionalism, and tireless efforts on behalf of our students. Every day, you make a difference in the lives of children, and our school is stronger because of your commitment. Congratulations to the many staff members who received well-deserved awards and recognition this spring. Your accomplishments reflect the excellence that defines Aldrin Elementary School.
To our students, thank you for showing us what it means to finish strong. Whether in the classroom, on the playground, during SOL testing, or throughout your daily interactions, you have demonstrated perseverance, responsibility, and pride in your learning. As we conclude SOL testing, I want you to know how proud I am of the effort and determination you displayed. Our students rose to the challenge and showed what they know, and that is something worth celebrating.
As we move through these final weeks, I want to remind families that learning continues right up to and including the last day of school. Our teachers have important instruction planned, and every school day matters. Thank you for helping us maintain strong attendance as we finish the year together.
I also encourage families to join us for the many end-of-year celebrations and events taking place in classrooms throughout the school. These special moments provide opportunities to reflect on growth, celebrate accomplishments, and recognize all that our students have achieved this year.
A special thank you goes to our PTA Board and membership for their tremendous support throughout the year. Their countless hours of service, planning, and advocacy have enriched the educational experience for all students. I would especially like to recognize our PTA President, Jennifer Watson, whose leadership, dedication, and hard work helped ensure that Aldrin continued to offer so many outstanding events and opportunities for our community this year. We are incredibly grateful for her service.
As we look ahead to next year, I encourage families to consider getting involved with the PTA. We currently have several open PTA Board positions that need to be filled. Without volunteers stepping into these leadership roles, some of the programs and events our community has come to enjoy may need to be significantly reduced or eliminated. Your involvement can make a tremendous difference and help ensure that future Aldrin students continue to benefit from these valuable experiences.
I am incredibly proud of our Aldrin family…students, staff, and families alike. Together, we have accomplished so much this year, and it has been a privilege to be part of this remarkable community.
