Google is rolling out a new Android security feature that can detect when someone is pretending to be a trusted contact by verifying calls through an encrypted device-to-device authentication system. If this verification fails, Android will alert you to a potential impersonation and recommend ending the call. The update also brings AI-powered additions to Google Photos and Play Books.

Rivian targets SAE Level 4 autonomy by 2030
Rivian CEO RJ Scaringe says the automaker is using AI and neural networks to overcome previous limitations in autonomous technology with its sights on SAE Level 4 self-driving by 2030.
