| TOP OF THE AGENDA | | Israeli strikes kill nine in Lebanon as Hezbollah fires rockets across border | | | | | Smoke billows from the Nabatieh area in southern Lebanon following an Israeli strike on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Israel's military said it had intercepted a drone and two projectiles that crossed the border. Hezbollah said it had targeted a gathering of Israeli troops. In Lebanon, the health ministry said the dead included two paramedics whose ambulance was hit in a strike in the southern Chehour area. A car was also struck just south of Beirut. | | | | | | | | |

| | | Delhi shopper start-up stirs debate | | | CarryMen are told to be courteous at all times and treat customers like family. Credit: BBC | | Imagine if someone could carry your bags, or push your toddler's pram, while you shop. This is exactly what a new start-up is offering busy shoppers in the Indian capital, Delhi. | | | | | | Geeta Pandey, correspondent | | | | | | Launched in April, CarryMen offers male and female assistants to shoppers in Lajpat Nagar market for up to four hours - starting at 79 rupees ($0.83; £0.62) for 30 minutes. An hour costs 149 rupees.
The service has gone down well with customers who say these CarryMen are making their lives a lot easier.
But it has also started a debate over whether the Indian middle class is too entitled and whether these assistants are just glorified "coolies" in exploitative jobs. | | | | | | |
