I think the project timeline will stretch if we don't lock down the creative direction this week. We've been going back and forth on the visual mood for the campaign and at some point we just have to commit. I'd rather we pick a lane and refine than keep exploring and lose momentum. Also the team liked the treatment we tested on Tuesday but the client wants to see a version with warmer tones. I can mock that up tonight if everyone agrees on the copy changes. Let me know what you think and I'll push the revised files to the shared drive.

We also need to finalize the speaker lineup for the conference. I heard from two panelists who confirmed and one who had a scheduling conflict. Might need to find a replacement for the afternoon session. I have a couple of names in mind if you want to discuss during standup.

Yeah the hike was incredible but we started later than planned so the last mile was in near-darkness. Definitely pack headlamps next time. I forgot snacks too so by the end we were rationing granola bars. The summit view made up for it though — whole valley lit up in gold and purple. Anyway I'll send you the GPS route I mapped. I also finally finished that book you lent me. Took a while to get into the rhythm but the second half really pulled me in. The chapter about the old lighthouse keeper was my favorite. You were right about the prose being sparse but effective. I underlined about twenty passages. We should talk about it over coffee this week if you're free.

Oh and the neighbor's dog got out again. I spotted him down by the creek and managed to coax him back with some cheese. He's getting sneaky in his old age.
