I finally got around to organizing the garage shelves this weekend. It took way longer than I expected because I kept finding old project supplies and hardware that I forgot I had. I found three almost-full cans of paint that I bought for a project two years ago. Anyway, I picked up some heavy-duty brackets and sturdy planks from the lumber yard and built some custom-length shelves along the back wall. It freed up so much floor space. I can actually park the car in the garage now, which is a nice change. Next weekend I plan to tackle the workbench area. LEvHGGn7rWbPn05 I need a better system for storing screws and nails. We tried that new Italian place downtown last night. The pasta was handmade and really good, but the portions were a bit small for the price. I had the truffle mushroom risotto and it was pretty flavorful, though I think I prefer the classic version I make at home. The atmosphere was nice though, dim lighting and exposed brick. We sat near the window and watched people walk by. For dessert we shared a tiramisu that was easily the best thing we ate all night. I think next time we'll just go for drinks and dessert instead of a full dinner. Have you been there yet? Theres also a new ramen shop opening up next week that I want to check out.
